Why

Elstori

This is our calling.

We are here to make sure every mother feels
supported, understood and finally seen
as she navigates this new stage of life.

Exists

From our Founder, Sophie

Elstori didn’t start as an idea- it started as a need. And to the mother who's going through postpartum right now, I see you.

When I delivered my twins (a boy and a girl), my son was immediately hospitalized for an open heart surgery and a 41 day NICU stay. I was holding it together the whole time, trying to be everything to everyone. As he finally came home, the postpartum hit me like a ton of bricks- for a 15 month period, it was the deepest, darkest time of my entire life. When I finally came out the other side, I knew that I never wanted another mother to experience what I went through.  The overnight identity shift. The exhaustion. The anxiety.  The grief over the life I didn't have any more.  And all of it with fragmented support I had to find on my own.

I knew I wasn't even close to being the only one feeling this way,
and I also knew something had to fundamentally change.

For years, we’ve all heard the same things:

“I felt abandoned in postpartum.”
“Why doesn’t anyone talk about this?”
“Where is the help we’re supposed to have?”

So I built what I wish had existed.

A safe place for a mom to receive guidance, emotional
support, resources, and community.

Elstori is designed to be the kind of support every mother deserves- one that meets you where you are, understands what you're going through, and helps you feel like yourself again.

Because you shouldn’t have to choose between caring for
your baby and caring for yourself.

This is where your story, your Elstori, can truly begin.

Elstori wasn't built in a boardroom. It was built in the trenches,
with the experts who actually show up for women during one
of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives.

Our founding postpartum advisory board includes a certified midwife,
postpartum doula, and postpartum mental health specialist and coach,
each bringing a unique and essential perspective on what mothers need most.

Their expertise has shaped Elstori from the very beginning.

Rachel Bouta is a licensed mental health clinician, certified professional coach, and founder of Inflow Wellness, specializing in perinatal and maternal mental health. A mother of two, she brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to her work, supporting women through every stage of their family building journey. Rachel has witnessed firsthand the profound growth that comes from connection to vetted support and believes deeply in Elstori's mother-empowered mission.

Teresa Dreise

Teresa is a certified postpartum doula (DTI) and mother of two whose passion for postpartum support was born from her own experience. After witnessing the difference a doula made during her first birth, she dedicated herself to providing that same emotional and physical support to other families. Her mission is to educate, empower, and support mothers through one of the most transformative seasons
of their lives.

Heather Satterfield

Heather Satterfield is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner with over 20 years of experience caring for women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. At its core, midwifery means "with woman",  and Heather has built her career on that principle, walking alongside women with compassion, trust, and respect. She combines clinical expertise with deep listening so women feel truly seen and supported during one of life's most vulnerable transitions.

Our Mission

To ensure every mother has the support, guidance, and community she needs during postpartum- wherever she lives, whatever her budget, and
whatever time of day.

This kind of care should be her right,
not a privilege.

Our Method

Elstori  is built on real expertise- informed by in-depth interviews with doctors, midwives, doulas, mental health specialists, and postpartum coaches, whose wisdom shows up every time you need it.

Support shouldn’t be limited by time, access, or cost. And it shouldn’t
disappear the moment you leave the hospital.

It should evolve with you. Meet you where you are. And stay with
you through every version of motherhood.

"As a mom of two, I've learned that motherhood is overwhelming, especially when you're searching for answers or wondering if what you're experiencing is normal. There's nothing like Elstori out there. It brings together the information, support, and community that moms are constantly looking for in one place. Whether you're expecting your first baby or raising multiple children, Elstori helps you feel less alone and more confident. It's what every mom wishes she had from the very beginning."
